About The Zenas Gerig Library

The Zenas Gerig Library, named after the founding principal and coordinator of both Jamaica Theological Seminary and Caribbean Graduate School of Theology respectively, serves both schools.  Its holdings consist of more than 34,000 books, periodicals, and other valuable resources for our faculty and students.  Internet access is also available. 

We are members of the Library and Information Association of Jamaica (LIAJA), the Jamaica Historical Society (JHS), and College Libraries Information Network (COLINET).  COLINET is in turn one of four information networks within the National Council on Libraries, Archives and Information Services (NACOLAIS).  The Zenas Gerig Library has been designated the node library for the national theological sub-system within COLINET.   

Some of the Caribbean’s largest research facilities are located in Kingston.  With appropriate arrangements, their resources can be made available to students.  These libraries include those of the University of the West Indies, the United Theological College of the West Indies, the University of Technology, and the National Library of Jamaica.
