In order to matriculate into the programme, prospective students must already possess:
- A first degree, preferably in Bible, theology or a related field
- Demonstrate competence in NT Greek if s/he is pursuing the MA in Bible (competence in Biblical Hebrew is a definite asset).
Students will be required to complete thirty-six (36) credits of study, nine (9) of which will be a research thesis, to be completed in the final semester. Full-time students will be required to complete nine (9) credits of study each semester over two years of study.
Classes have a heavy emphasis on research, with students attending three to four weeks of lectures in each course, followed by independent research and student presentations conducted under the guidance of the professors. Students will be required to successfully complete courses captioned under the following headings: Master’s Core (15), Specialization Core (12), and Specialization Options (9).
Master’s Core Courses include: Biblical / Theological, Ethics Research Methods and Thesis.
